When shit hits the fan, ⁣⁣

I still have blow-up moments⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They’re way less frequent now, ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But when your daughter wakes up 2am ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
For an entire hour, ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And yells and screams,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Crying for either her heavily pregnant mum, ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Or her 3rd bottle of milk ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
(FK off Dad)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Even the calmest blokes lose it⁣⁣
⁣⁣
𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐄𝐍 ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s not the initial emotional response that matters,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It’s what you do with how you feel⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If your reaction turns into self-sabotaging thoughts⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And those thoughts lead to boozing or bingeing,⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Then we’ve got a problem⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And in this case, we don’t need a diet, ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We need to work on our self-awareness⁣⁣
⁣⁣
